I’m never one to follow Facebook trends of copying and pasting messages that do the round or taking up bizarre challenges that people come up with. But in 2 days the number of #MeToo that I’ve seen from people in my own friends list alone is so alarming and disturbing, that it would be an injustice if I don’t join the squad. As the message says, if the number of hashtag shares shows the magnitude of the issue, so be it.

#MeToo – Started at 7, an ugly story I blogged about 3 years ago. Continued in varying degrees all my life, from ogling to inappropriate touching to perverted displays in public and a lot more, from people known and unknown. So many stories untold. Wish our kids don’t have to say #MeToo when they are grown up.
