Today (like every day) when we heard the loud noise of children playing together (no masks, nothing) in hordes outside apartment buildings all around ours, Vedu turned to me and said quite seriously, “When Corona is so bad and there is a lockdown, why are these aunties and uncles sending their children outside to play? How bad of them!” And I couldn’t help thinking that if these moronic adults had half the common sense as my 4-year-old daughter, we wouldn’t be in such a pathetic mess. I mean, why the hell are we struggling with online classes if we were planning to have kids play in groups of 10 or so outside their homes anyway? 🤷‍♀️
