While I’m absolutely okay with standing up for the national anthem, I wonder if our national anthem is something that needs to be played before movies, even senseless and stupid ones for that matter. Wouldn’t that be more of an insult and disrespect to it? Personally, I feel the national anthem is something that should be played on special occasions befitting its importance.

P.S. Hope people won’t use this post as a platform to flaunt big words like Fascism for no reason.
