When someone calls out the hypocrisy in the way some treat similar practices differently according to their convenience, don’t label them as advocates of any religion or political party. Anyone who is unbiased and sensible, irrespective of the religion he/she belongs to should be able to question these double standards. It is important to talk about the good and bad in any practice and also about personal preferences and imposed restrictions. But that should never be done on the basis of “my” religion or “your” religion. If you can’t see the hidden agenda behind these people, then you are blind, regardless of whether they seem to be supporting or opposing your beliefs.

P.S. I hope people will be sensible enough to see that my post is not an attack on any religion or anyone’s beliefs. This is strictly a post on the hypocrisy with which things are dealt by those who are happy in dividing people.
