Not just the front seat, it’s important to buckle yourself up in the rear seat too. I know this very well because years ago, my uncle, aunt and son escaped a near-fatal accident only because they were buckled up in the back seat too. Please don’t risk your life thinking of a minor inconvenience. And please stop lashing out at the policemen for enforcing the use of seat belts and helmets and saying, “First you fix the roads, then we will wear seat belts and helmets”. They are not doing it to save their lives, but yours. And if you talk about them meeting monthly targets, yet again, that’s because you are not doing something to protect yourself.
