Where inhibitions are set free!

Author Radhika Gopakumar

My friends say I am a very hyperactive, noisy person; although my blogs might not reflect that. I blog mainly about confused feelings I get from insane reveries I have. I have to be super-depressed, super-excited or super-pissed off to write, thereby making my writing pretty much emotional (or so people tell me). There have been people who have loved me for what I write, there have also been people who have despised me for it. Whichever way, I continue to write because I believe in doing what I like, no matter what others say.

My Choice – Integrity over Morality

After seeing quite a lot of hype, I finally watched the #MyChoice video starring Deepika Padukone and a handful of others. (Calling it Deepika Padukone’s video was a little too much.) I personally support a number of points from the… Continue Reading →

I used to conduct a session on ‘First Impressions’ when I was working as a trainer with TCS. Over three and a half years, as part of this session, I’ve told my trainees innumerable times what people’s first impression about… Continue Reading →

When Dreams Die

Like Kareena Kapoor says in ‘Jab We Met’, I used to be very excited about the prospect of getting married when I was a kid. I used to wear bangles covering my arm and shawls like a saree to look… Continue Reading →

Handling Power with Grace

Ageing with grace is an art. So is handling power with grace as you go up the ladder. I’ve seen certain people who have managed to do this absolutely brilliantly. In fact, the higher they went up the ladder, they… Continue Reading →

Daddy’s Little Girl

He took me in his arms the day I was born. He carried me on his shoulders when I was 2. He went on to stay abroad alone for the next 25 years when I was 3, so my brother… Continue Reading →

My First Love Letter – The Disaster It Was

When I was doing my 11th standard in my hometown, I was in a high school affair with a boy in my class. This could be considered my first ever romance as the first guy I shared a mutual liking… Continue Reading →
