There are so many people who keep judging me for “throwing away my degree and career”, especially since I was really good at what I did. What they don’t understand is that while I loved my job, it was always my dream to be home when I decided to start a family. That doesn’t mean I don’t do anything worthwhile sitting here. I still find time for my passions, especially my writing, and someday when I can invest enough time I will also find a way to earn from home. What I do now is my choice, a happy one at that which I enjoy to the core. And that doesn’t make working mothers any less. For me they are super women too, just like I am one in my own eyes and Hari’s. As long as I understand the importance of what I do, I will make sure my kids grow up learning to respect every parent, working or not. 🙂
